Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Security Officer for State Site in Boston MA

Monday - Friday 11 PM - 7 AM

Starting Pay is $23.00 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training

As a Security Officer in Boston, MA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and assist visitors and staff with outstanding customer service and communication. In a role grounded in teamwork, integrity, reliability, and innovation, you will help create a welcoming environment while responding to routine concerns and reporting activity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts, supervisors, and/or public emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, roadways, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, observe pedestrian and vehicle activity, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations according to site protocols.
• Prepare clear, accurate documentation of incidents, patrol activity, and/or notable observations, and support daily operations in a public-facing transportation environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
