Senior Tax Analyst

Job Description Location: San Diego, CA (Hybrid) \n Compensation: Up to $150,000 Base Salary Bonus \n \n Our client, a growing and highly successful organization, is seeking a Senior Tax Analyst to join its corporate tax team. This position offers the opportunity to play a key role in tax compliance, tax accounting, planning initiatives, and process improvement efforts within a complex multi-state business environment. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in corporate taxation, a proactive mindset, and a desire to partner cross-functionally with accounting, finance, and operational teams \n .Key Responsibilitie \n \n Support the preparation and review of federal, state, and local income tax filings while ensuring compliance with all applicable deadlines \n Assist with the quarterly and annual tax provision process, including supporting schedules, reconciliations, and documentation of tax positions \n Analyze legislative and regulatory tax developments and assess their potential impact on the organization’s tax strategy and reporting requirements \n Conduct technical tax research and prepare clear, concise memoranda supporting conclusions and recommendations \n Mentor and provide guidance to less experienced tax professionals, reviewing workpapers and promoting best practices \n Drive process enhancements by identifying inefficiencies, strengthening internal controls, and implementing solutions that improve accuracy and scalability \n Participate in special projects, tax planning initiatives, acquisitions, restructuring activities, and other strategic tax matters as needed \n \n .Qualification \n \n Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field \n 3 years of corporate tax experience in public accounting and/or industry \n Strong knowledge of federal and multi-state tax compliance and tax accounting principles \n Experience with ASC 740 tax provision calculations \n Advanced Excel skills and experience with tax software applications \n \n \n .aa415a4b-8b21-40fc-a65c-70d2b25ca29a
