About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead its two interconnected entities, the Consortium and the Network. The CEO will work closely with the Board of Directors to develop and advance the vision, mission, and strategic plan, with ultimate responsibility for the achievement of strategic initiative results. This role requires a leader who can seamlessly integrate teams and initiatives, gain the trust of all Board members, and bring a strong sense of humility, integrity, and effective communication to the organization. The ideal candidate will be a strategic and assertive advocate, committed to the needs of diverse populations, and will have a palpable love for the organization's mission, evidenced by prior work and advocacy experiences. The successful CEO will be responsible for leading the Consortium and the Network to advocacy visions and strategic goals, collaborating with the Executive Team to create and implement operational plans, and maintaining open communication with the Board of Directors. Essential position results include representing the organizations at external meetings, developing key partnerships, and advising on contract negotiations and funding opportunities. The CEO will also work closely with the Chief Impact Officer on policy and regulatory changes and will direct the Leadership Team to ensure the strategic plan is operationalized effectively. The role demands a candidate with a minimum of 15 years of professional experience, including a significant background in healthcare administration, supervisory experience, and a strong understanding of healthcare policy issues and the barriers faced by low-income communities. A Bachelor's degree is required, with a Master's degree in a related field preferred.
