Our Client is seeking a skilled and dependable Service Technician to perform automotive maintenance, inspections, installations, troubleshooting, and mechanical repairs. This role is responsible for maintaining vehicle safety, reliability, and performance while delivering high-quality service in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. The Service Technician will work closely with team members while following established safety, quality, inspection, and repair procedures. Location : Trenton, South Carolina 29847 Job Type : Full-Time Compensation : $34.00 per hour This position is focused on automotive maintenance, mechanical repair, vehicle inspections, tire service, brake and suspension systems, battery replacement, basic electrical troubleshooting, and continued technical development. Key Responsibilities Automotive Maintenance & Service Perform routine automotive maintenance, including oil changes and scheduled maintenance services. Install automotive parts, components, and related equipment as required. Inspect vehicles to identify maintenance, service, and repair requirements. Perform tire maintenance and related automotive tire services. Ensure vehicles are properly serviced and maintained according to established safety and quality standards. Mechanical Systems Inspect, service, and repair steering systems. Diagnose and repair suspension components and related mechanical systems. Inspect, service, and repair brake systems to ensure safe vehicle operation. Perform general automotive mechanical repairs and maintenance as required. Identify mechanical issues and determine appropriate repair or service requirements. Electrical & Battery Services Install, replace, and service automotive batteries. Troubleshoot basic automotive electrical systems and components. Identify electrical issues and recommend appropriate repairs or component replacements. Follow established procedures when servicing vehicle electrical and battery systems. Testing, Inspection, Safety & Quality Conduct vehicle inspections and road tests when required. Verify that maintenance and repairs have been completed correctly and safely. Follow established repair, testing, inspection, and vehicle return procedures. Maintain a strong focus on workplace, customer, and vehicle safety. Follow company quality standards, operating procedures, and applicable safety requirements. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Required Skills & Experience Basic understanding of general automotive maintenance and repair. Knowledge of automotive tire maintenance and repair procedures. Ability to perform hands-on mechanical and automotive service work. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. Strong problem-solving and diagnostic abilities. Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Must hold a valid automobile driver's license. Ability to safely operate customer and company vehicles as required. Certifications & Professional Development Ability and willingness to obtain A.S.E. certifications within the first two years of employment. Work Environment This is an on-site, hands-on Service Technician position in Trenton, South Carolina. The role involves regular work with automobiles, mechanical components, tires, batteries, brake systems, suspension systems, steering components, and basic automotive electrical systems. The position requires the ability to perform physical, hands-on automotive service activities while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, accuracy, and productivity. The successful candidate must be comfortable working in a fast-paced service environment and following established repair and safety procedures. Additional Requirements Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Must possess a valid automobile driver's license. Must be able to safely operate customer and company vehicles. Must be willing and able to work on-site in Trenton, South Carolina. Must demonstrate a strong commitment to workplace, customer, and vehicle safety. Must be willing to obtain required A.S.E. certifications within the first two years of employment.
