Schedule / Shift

12-hour night shifts. Weekends as needed, with no call required. Schedule flexibility is essential.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team for a night shift role. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care to patients in an adult ICU & ED setting, as well as NICU level III care. Strong preference will be given to candidates with PICU experience.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy and provide care for patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders.
• Monitor patients' condition and maintain accurate medical records.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to discuss patient treatment plans.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care and equipment usage.
• Utilize EPIC for documentation and patient data management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RRT license with documentation on file.
• AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, AHA PALS certifications are required.
• Minimum of 1 year of respiratory therapy experience in an acute care or teaching hospital setting.
• Prior travel experience is preferred.
• Experience with EPIC within the past 2 years is mandatory.
• All work history must be well-documented, including bed count, EMR, and facility type.
