Someone who is able to multi-task, problem-solve, and deliver the best customer service to our clients in a high call volume workplace. This position has room for growth and incentives! Job Type: Full-time (Monday through Friday) 3 days a week Intake Role, 2 days a week Eligibility Verification Specialist role In-Office Responsibilities Greet and assist patients during the intake process. Answer phone lines for incoming patient communications. Collect and verify patient information, including medical history and insurance details. Schedule initial appointments and coordinate with healthcare providers. Ensure all required forms and documentation are completed accurately. Answer patient confidentiality and comply with healthcare regulations. Update and maintain patient records in AthenaOne. Collaborate with other administrative and clinical staff to ensure a smooth intake process. Perform eligibility and benefits verification and coordination on a rotating basis. Performing additional tasks, duties, and assignments as specified by your supervisor. Use of Technology: Proficient in the use of a PC; in a Windows environment; in the use of the Internet; and in the use of MS Office Applications such as Outlook, Word, and Excel. Proficient in the use of EHR software systems, preferably AthenaOne. Requirements High school diploma or general education degree (GED) A minimum of 1 year of Healthcare Industry experience. Excellent oral, written, and listening communication skills. Effective organization and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work in high-pressure situations. Excellent interpersonal skills and demeanor Proficient in the use of a PC; in a Windows environment; in the use of the Internet; and in the use of MS Office Applications such as Outlook, Word, and Excel. Knowledgeable in the use of EMR systems such as AthenaOne. Ability to adhere to strict attendance and punctuality expectations. Ability to attend to details ensuring accuracy promptly. Ability to work both independently, as well as collaboratively.
