Job Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, conducting thorough physical exams and in-depth reviews of medical histories
• Assist in evaluating and diagnosing surgical conditions through careful interpretation of imaging studies and laboratory results
• Work closely with surgeons to develop and implement tailored surgical treatment plans for patients
• Provide vital intraoperative assistance, including preparing operating rooms, verifying patient positioning, and passing surgical instruments
• Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care, which includes administering medications, managing wounds, planning discharges, and educating patients

Educational Requirements

• Master's degree obtained from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations focused on surgical care is highly preferred

Certifications Required

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications are a must
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
