Quick Facts Location: Centralia, IL Start Date: 11/02/2026 End Date: 02/01/2027 Shift: Night shift, 5x8-hour shifts (19:00 – 07:00) Hours/Week: 40 hours Employment Type: Contract/Temporary Licensure/Certifications: Board Certified in Cardiology, BLS required Experience: Prior inpatient and outpatient cardiology experience preferred Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $278.46 Benefits: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable 24/7 dedicated team committed to your success What You’ll Do Manage inpatient consults and outpatient clinic duties in general cardiology Read EKGs and echocardiograms to assist with diagnosis Supervise stress testing procedures Collaborate with support staff, including APPs, RNs, and Medical Assistants Provide care for adult patients with CAD, HTN, and HF Support hospital rounding requirements, ensuring quality patient care Participate in phone call coverage after hours for patient consults What You Need Valid Illinois medical license and board certification in cardiology BLS certification At least 2+ years of cardiology experience preferred Strong clinical skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication and patient care abilities About the Assignment Join a dedicated cardiology department managing adult inpatient and outpatient cases, including supervision of stress tests and interpretation of EKGs and echocardiograms. This position supports inpatient consults, hospital rounding, and after-hours call coverage, contributing to comprehensive cardiovascular care in a welcoming community setting.
