Contract Revenue Accounting Consultant

Overview Beech Valley Solutions is providing remote contract opportunities for Revenue Consultants, primarily at the Senior Associate level, for CPA firm clients. These are remote contract (1099) opportunities with ASAP start dates. Duration may vary based on client but expect 3+ months. Full-time (35-40) hours per week. Compensation Base pay range: $60.00/hr - $70.00/hr. This range is provided by Beech Valley Solutions. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more. Responsibilities Client is seeking Revenue Senior Accountant resources for a SaaS client. Strong understanding of ASC 606 software revenue accounting. Strong analytical skills; experience analyzing large and complex data. Able to perform month-end close tasks and heavy manual entries independently. Perform UAT testing (NetSuite ARM) and understand the impact of system changes on revenue. Remote role with ASAP start; duration approximately 3 months; 35-40 hours per week. Qualifications Strong knowledge of ASC 606 software revenue accounting Ability to prepare month-end close tasks including review of JEs, reconciliations, and various reporting deliverables; ability to prepare relevant sections of the financial statements in accordance with US GAAP NetSuite ARM and ability to perform UAT Revenue cleanup/material weakness remediation/revenue operations & accounting Experience analyzing large and complex data 3-5 years of relevant work experience with a combination of Big 4/Public Accounting and in a fast-paced, global, software/SaaS company (ideal) Public company experience is a plus Bachelor's Degree in accounting; CPA preferred Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Contract Job function Accounting/Auditing Industries Accounting Location Remote #J-18808-Ljbffr Beech Valley Solutions
