Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid teaching credential in Special Education
• Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English (written and spoken)
• Experience in or strong interest in dual language/dual immersion programs
• Understanding of IEPs, differentiation, and culturally responsive teaching
• Flexibility, collaboration, and strong communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and provide specialized instruction tailored to student needs, primarily within a dual immersion framework
• Lead engaging lessons in Spanish for half of the day, supporting language acquisition alongside core subjects
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and families to create effective learning plans
• Adapt instructional materials and strategies to accommodate all learners
• Attend and participate in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and related documentation
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and culturally rich classroom environment
