Client assists with all legal matters, advising community association boards on all legal matters, including contract drafting and negotiations, enforcement of deed restrictions, amending/rewriting governing documents, corporate governance and compliance, defense of breach of duty claims, commercial litigation, construction defect litigation, business litigation, general litigation, bankruptcy, and foreclosure.

Requirements

We are seeking a talented, results-oriented attorney to join our team. In this role, you will be counted on to play a vital role in all aspects of complex litigation matters, working closely with partners and senior associates. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience and a strong track record of success in the following areas:

• Conducting depositions and hearings

• Managing discovery processes

• Working effectively as part of a team

• Demonstrated experience with legal research and writing

• Excellent time management and organization skills

• Ability to work independently and manage a caseload

• Strong work ethic and commitment to meeting deadlines

• Willing to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school

• 2-5 years of experience at a law firm

• State Bar of Texas license

• Proven ability to take and defend depositions

• Experience with all phases of discovery

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Team player
