Breakfast Attendant Home2 Suites by Hilton in Queensbury, NY is currently seeking a dynamic, friendly and motivated individual for the position of Breakfast Attendant. The position requires a high level of professionalism, excellent organization, communication skills, and detail orientation. The Breakfast Attendant will oversee the breakfast area for our guests, prepare food and beverage for breakfast function, maintain a clean kitchen and dining area, interact with guests, ask about their stay and be able to answer questions about the hotel and the area. Responsibilities: Responsible for food service set up and break down Cleaning all equipment and areas Prepare breakfast food and beverage items and set out all hot and cold food items following food safety regulations. Replenish all food and beverage items during the meal period Keep all items fully stocked Ensure all foods are kept at safe temperatures Keep all tables bused and cleaned Greet each guest as they arrive for breakfast and build a friendly rapport Creating a warm and welcoming experience for our guests Solving problems when able and reporting any complaints or issues immediately to management for resolution Continually walking and standing in a fast paced environment Qualifications: Friendly and dynamic individual and loves working with people Previous hotel or food service experience strongly preferred, but not required High school degree or equivalent required Early morning, weekend, and holiday availability Must be able to work between the hours of 6am – 11am Job Type: Part Time Salary: $17.50 Benefits: Hotel rooms 40.00 a night and additional cash tips Physical setting: Fast casual complimentary breakfast Schedule: Day shift Supplemental pay types: Tips Shift availability: Day/MorningShift (Preferred) #J-18808-Ljbffr
