Job Title: Travel RN - Labor and Delivery Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year in high-risk obstetrical care License: Valid RN license Certifications: Intermediate AWHONN fetal monitoring certificate Must-Have: High-risk obstetrical bedside training Experience in circulating during c-sections Ability to recover high acuity patients Description: Position available for a Travel RN in the Labor and Delivery specialty. Candidate should have experience in high-risk obstetrical care. The unit primarily operates under AWHONN staffing ratios. The expected patient ratios are 2:1 for cervical ripening, 3:1 for triage, and 1:1 for active labor. The unit supports vaginal deliveries, c-sections, and post-delivery recovery care. Documentation is done using a Meditech system. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in high-risk obstetrics. Floating to the antepartum unit may be required. Clean and healthy nails are required, with no artificial nails. Hair should be neat, clean, and pulled back if shoulder length or longer. Visible body art should be covered when possible. Attendance policy will be strictly adhered to.
