The Role at a Glance: No late evenings, weekends, or holidays! Hours of Operation: 7am - 1:30pm, Monday-Friday

We are looking to add an experienced, motivated lead cook to our Elior School Dining team in Maple Lake, MN. As a lead cook, you will have the opportunity to handle and prepare food while training and supervising a team of exceptional foodservice professionals.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Overseeing and assisting with the preparation and service of food items.
• Following established recipes to ensure consistency, quality, and proper portioning.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including the kitchen and dishwashing areas.
• Washing dishes, utensils, cookware, and other kitchen equipment as needed.
• Adhering to all food safety and sanitation standards and procedures.
• Monitoring food usage and inventory to help control costs and minimize waste.
• Preparing and serving food on the tray line while providing efficient, quality service.

What We're Looking For:

Must-Haves:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent multitasking, leadership, and communication skills.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in culinary arts or a related field.

Where You'll Be Working: Maple Lake Public School District Compensation Range $20 / hour
