Position Overview 

One of our Partners in North Carolina is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist for ongoing locum coverage at a community hospital serving eastern North Carolina.

Providers will work a weekday schedule with shared home-call responsibilities while supporting a diverse case mix including general surgery, orthopedics, urology, gynecology, podiatry, labor and delivery, and endoscopy procedures.

The facility offers a collegial anesthesia team, low callback burden, and an attractive combination of scheduled clinical hours and call compensation.

Pay Ranking: Top 15% nationally among comparable CRNA locum opportunities (2026).

• Joint Commission Certified staffing partner
• HPA Healthcare is an active member of NALTO
• Monday–Friday schedule
• 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM clinical coverage
• Home call from 3:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 20-minute response time required
• Call ratio approximately 1:5
• Weekend call approximately every 5th weekend
• Four CRNAs and one MDA on staff
• Medical direction model in OR
• CRNA-only coverage for endoscopy and labor & delivery
• Approximately 200 surgical cases monthly
• Five operating rooms plus endoscopy suite
• Epic EMR preferred
