Corporate Accountant

Job Description A company in the Melbourne area is looking for a Corporate Accountant III to support a growing finance team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This role is responsible for performing complex accounting functions, supporting financial reporting, and providing analysis to drive business decisions. Responsibilities Perform month-end close activities, including preparing and reviewing journal entries in compliance with GAAP Conduct variance analysis by comparing actual results to forecasts and budgets Support forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning (including 3-year plans) Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts Provide audit support for internal and external audits, including financial and compliance audits Analyze intercompany transactions and ensure proper accounting Review expense reports, invoices, and payment requests for accuracy and proper coding Assist in preparation of annual financial reporting packages and supporting schedules Partner with cross-functional teams and leadership to deliver financial insights Contribute to process improvements and documentation of accounting procedures EEO Statement We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
