This role involves evaluating risk, recommending appropriate insurance products, and maintaining strong relationships with builder partners and their customers. The agent will contribute to the agency's growth by delivering exceptional service and leveraging captive advantages to streamline the insurance process.Consult with homebuyers to identify insurance needs and recommend coverage solutionsSell homeowners, auto, flood, umbrella, and other personal lines insurance productsEvaluate risk and recommend appropriate coverage optionsCross-sell and bundle policies to maximize customer valuePartner with lenders, title companies, and closing teams to ensure timely insurance placementMaintain a high level of customer service throughout the homebuying processMeet and exceed sales and performance goalsAccurately document customer interactions and sales activity within agency systemsRequired Education/ExperienceHigh School diploma or equivalent requiredActive Property & Casualty Insurance LicenseMinimum 2 years of experience in homeowners insurance, preferably in a captive or builder-affiliated agency, or auto insuranceStrong knowledge of multi-state Property & Casualty insurance products and underwriting guidelinesFamiliarity with Department of Insurance regulations and builder sales processesExcellent communication and customer service skillsProficiency with Windows-based software and CRM systemsStrong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple prioritiesSelf-starter with the ability to work independently and collaborativelyCompensationPay Range - $22.21/hr to $28.85/hr depending upon experience.This position is also eligible for monthly incentives based on the successful completion of defined performance objectives.This position is also eligible for draw compensation during the first 90 days.Six-figure combined earning potential for high-performing agents.Unlike many insurance sales positions, you will not be responsible for generating your own leads or developing your own book of business. Our agents focus on converting qualified opportunities into written policies and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
