Compensation and Schedule for the Medical Assistant

Medical Assistant - Full-time, onsite, $20-$24 per hour, Tuesday to Friday, 7:00am to 5:30pm. Join a fast-paced team with opportunities for growth!

Required Qualifications of the Medical Assistant

• 2+ years of recent back-office medical assistant experience required

• Recent primary care or family medicine experience preferred

• Medical Assistant diploma or certification required

• High school diploma or GED required

• Must successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screen

Responsibilities of the Medical Assistant

• Room patients

• Collect patient information and enter into EMR system

• Help provider with procedures

• Handle injections and blood draws

• Answer phones

• Schedule/reschedule appointments and procedures

• Handle prescription refills and prior authorizations
