As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol in Orlando, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site leadership and/or public agency contacts.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, administrative spaces, and perimeter locations, with attention to unusual activity and access control concerns.
• Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and/or public access points to help to deter unauthorized activity, enforce post orders, and support compliance with location rules and regulations.
• Assist with emergency situations, customer interactions, and/or requests for assistance while maintaining a professional presence and supporting coordinated response with law enforcement and/or first responders when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess a valid armed guard card and/or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
