Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor – South Shore Emergency Room Cudahy, WI, United States The Southshore Community Hospital’s Level IV trauma unit (17 monitor beds) seeks an experienced RN Supervisor who can lead dynamic teamwork and provide compassionate, patient-centered care. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) or enrollment in an ADN to BSN program. Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, including prior leadership experience. Advanced clinical and technical knowledge of ED and critical care services. Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills. Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Responsibilities Direct daily operations, staffing, and patient flow to ensure efficient procedural care. Promote high‑quality patient care and advocate for patients and team members. Serve as liaison between nursing staff, physicians, patients, and families. Build and maintain relationships across departments and with external vendors. Monitor quality, regulatory compliance, and policy adherence. Partner with leadership on process improvement initiatives. Act as a clinical resource for staff, patients, and families. Support staff onboarding, education, training, and professional development. Provide input on equipment, supplies, budgeting, and department needs. Support shared governance, nursing standards, and peer review activities. Perform leadership and HR functions, including coaching, performance reviews, hiring recommendations, and employee engagement. Ensure compliance with ethical, legal, and organizational standards. Provide age‑appropriate, patient‑centered care across the lifespan.
