Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days | 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services across adult, NICU, and pediatric service lines within a high-volume hospital setting
• Operate and manage ventilators and respiratory equipment including adult vents, infant/pediatric vents, transport vents, non-invasive devices, and high-flow oxygen devices
• Document patient care and treatment accurately using Cerner EMR
• Float to all critical care units and general floor areas as needed
• Maintain patient ratios and deliver care in alignment with department protocols and safety standards
• Participate in rotating weekend shifts, with a minimum of four weekend shifts per six-week schedule

Required Qualifications

• Active North Carolina Respiratory Therapy License
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Minimum of 2 years of respiratory therapy experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• Experience working in NICU or pediatric respiratory care settings
