Job Description
TITLE
Registered Nurse - Operating Room

SCHEDULE
Rotating shifts (Day/Evening)
Typical pattern: Three-day shifts plus one off shift.
Off shift options: 0845-1915, 1045-2115, or 1245-2315.
Call requirements: One weekday call per week plus one 24-hour call in each four-week schedule block.

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
Contract Length: 16 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: Not specified

REQUIREMENTS
- Must have a nursing license.
- Prior travel experience required.
- Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room RN experience.
- Experience in a large trauma level 1 facility (500+ beds).
- EPIC experience required within the past 2 years.
- Ability to circulate and scrub across all specialties except CVOR cases.
- Skills checklists for circulating and scrubbing must be in the submission packet.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide direct patient care in the Operating Room.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to deliver care and manage the surgical environment.
- Assist with the preparation and maintenance of the operating room for surgical procedures.
- Monitor patients' conditions before, during, and after surgery.

COMPLIANCE / NOTES
- Orientation occurs bi-weekly on Mondays.
- Explain all employment gaps over 90 days.
- Public transportation is not accessible in this area; reliable transportation is recommended.
