Med Surg RN

Shift: 12-hour nights
Hours: 36/week
Unit: 56-bed Adult Medical Specialty Unit
EHR: Epic
Requirements: 1 year experience, AHA BLS, active IL license or application started
Skills: Central lines, tracheostomies, chest tubes, heparin/Lasix drips
Preferred: Epic, travel, and Level I trauma experience
Patient Population: Cellulitis, sepsis, dehydration, diabetes, respiratory failure, liver/kidney failure, behavioral health/addictions
Ratios: 1:4–1:5 evenings, 1:5–1:6 nights
Weekends: Every other weekend
Float: May float to other acute care general medicine units
