Corporate Paralegal
We are seeking an experienced Corporate Paralegal to support a dynamic Legal Department. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in a corporate legal department or law firm who can manage multiple legal matters while providing comprehensive legal and administrative support.
Job Title: Corporate Paralegal
Location: Mooresville, NC (Hybrid/Onsite)
Duration: 3+ Month Contract
Pay Rate: $65-$75/hr
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and prepare research memoranda.
- Manage discovery, legal holds, and fact-finding investigations.
- Draft, review, and edit legal documents and correspondence.
- Review contracts and vendor agreements, identifying issues for attorney review.
- Coordinate with business stakeholders, regulatory agencies, and outside counsel.
- Support regulatory filings, compliance initiatives, and due diligence activities.
- Track legal matters, deadlines, and documentation using matter management systems.
- Prepare reports, exhibits, summaries, and other legal documentation.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience working in a corporate legal department or law firm.
- Strong legal research, document drafting, and analytical skills.
- Experience with discovery, regulatory compliance, contract review, and due diligence.
- Ability to manage multiple legal matters in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
