Job Details: Level: Experienced, Job Location: Wilmington MA - Wilmington, MA 01887, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: $20.00 - $27.00 Hourly, Travel Percentage: Up to 25%, Job Shift: 1st Shift, Location & Schedule: This position is primarily based in Haverhill, MA, with occasional travel required to our Wilmington, MA facility. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Position Overview We are seeking a motivated and analytical Operations Finance Clerk to support the finance and manufacturing teams at our Massachusetts-based food production facility. This role is responsible for supporting cost analysis, operational reporting, inventory tracking, and financial planning within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. The Operations Finance Clerk will work closely with plant operations, supply chain, and accounting teams to help improve efficiency, control costs, maintain accurate financial data, and support business decision-making. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assist with daily, weekly, and monthly operational finance reporting. Support inventory reconciliation, material usage tracking, and variance analysis. Analyze production costs, labor efficiency, waste, and manufacturing performance metrics. Assist with the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses for plant operations. Partner with operations and supply chain teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements. Maintain and update spreadsheets, dashboards, and ERP system data. Participate in month-end close activities and financial reporting processes. Conduct ad hoc analyses related to production, procurement, inventory, and plant performance. Support continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing and finance departments. Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety standards, and internal controls. The Ideal Candidate will have the Following Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams Interest in manufacturing, operations, or the food industry preferred Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment Competencies and Skills Experience with data analysis or financial modeling Familiarity with manufacturing KPIs and cost accounting concepts Knowledge of Excel, Power BI, D365, or similar reporting tools is a plus Positive attitude, adaptability, and willingness to learn in a production environment.
