Join Our Team as a General Manager!
Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for hospitality and a drive for excellence? B & J Group is seeking a General Manager to oversee our bar and restaurant in Garwood, NJ. As the General Manager, you will have the opportunity to lead a talented team, deliver exceptional guest experiences, and drive business growth in a fast-paced environment.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Manage restaurant operations to ensure smooth and efficient service
- Oversee food quality and consistency to meet company standards
- Lead restaurant management team in achieving goals and objectives
- Ensure high quality of service and guest satisfaction
- Maintain ServSafe certification and uphold food safety and sanitation standards
Required Skills:
- Proven experience in restaurant operations and management
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality guest service
- Strong leadership skills with a focus on team development
- Knowledge of cost management and financial accountability
- Experience in complaint resolution and customer service
- Guest Relations
- Front of House
- New Restaurant Openings
- Labor Cost Management
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience in cash management and reimbursement processes
- Proficiency in interviewing and staffing procedures
- Strong math skills for financial analysis and reporting
- Background in retail or accounting
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Salary and Benefits:
This position offers a competitive salary range of $75,000.00 to $90,000.00, along with long-term disability coverage and opportunities for career growth within the company.
