Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate clients' histories and identify personalized treatment strategies.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to guide therapy sessions.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions to empower clients in processing their trauma and building effective coping strategies.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to ensure a holistic and integrated approach to mental health care.

• Provide timely crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring client safety and connection to resources.

• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses and coping techniques, fostering understanding and support networks.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at High Focus Counseling, you will primarily work with individuals who have been affected by various forms of trauma. This includes survivors of abuse, those with PTSD, and individuals coping with complex trauma and dissociative disorders. Your expertise will play a crucial role in helping these individuals navigate their recovery journey, fostering healing and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Washington.

• Possession of strong knowledge in trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment approaches.

• Proficiency in delivering trauma-focused therapeutic interventions.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The competitive salary range for this position is USD 90,000 to 110,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
