In this full‑time, in‑person role, you’ll independently manage key aspects of estate and trust administration; from court filings to asset transfers to meaningful client communication. What Makes This Role Rewarding You’ll guide clients through one of life’s most sensitive processes with professionalism and empathy You’ll work alongside experienced attorneys who value collaboration and trust your expertise You’ll join a firm known for stability, integrity, and deep community roots You’ll have room to grow your skills in a specialized, high‑demand area of law A Day in the Life Your work may include: Client Communication – Supporting clients through the probate process and reviewing financial documentation with care and clarity Document Preparation – Drafting, organizing, and managing legal documents for attorney review Asset Management – Assisting with the collection, valuation, and liquidation of estate assets Creditors’ Claims – Reviewing, tracking, and managing claims filed against the estate Tax Filings – Assisting with estate tax returns and related filings In‑office schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5pm Who You Are You’re someone who: Manages your workload independently and stays ahead of deadlines Thrives in a fast‑paced environment with shifting priorities Delivers high‑quality work with accuracy and attention to detail Adapts easily to unique client needs and case complexities Required Skills & Qualifications Exceptional client service and interpersonal skills Strong written and verbal communication abilities Tech‑savvy and quick to learn new software Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Outlook and Word) 2+ years of experience in probate or estate planning (paralegal or legal assistant) Knowledge of fiduciary accounting is a plus Experience as a Probate Paralegal preferred, not required Florida Registered Paralegal designation is a plus Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree helpful but not required About Farr Law Firm For more than 100 years, Farr Law Firm has been committed to protecting individual rights and supporting the responsible growth of our vibrant Gulf Coast region.
