Payroll SpecialistThis role is responsible for supporting a wide range of HR and administrative functions, including payroll processing, maintaining accurate payroll records, employee records management, assisting with benefits administration, and day-to-day human resources operations. The position involves assisting with onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and policy administration while providing general administrative support to ensure efficient office operations.ResponsibilitiesMaintain accurate payroll records and perform payroll processing.Provide administrative support for Human Resources operations, including maintaining employee records, processing personnel documentation, and ensuring accurate recordkeeping while maintaining integrity and confidentiality.Assist with attending career/job fairs.Assist in planning and conducting new employee onboarding.Assist with employee benefit administration.Provide prompt and courteous customer service to employees and vendors.Conduct oneself with integrity.Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others.Be respectful of teammates and support teamwork amongst coworkers.Ability to handle confidential information.Assist with maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records using the HRIS system.Essential SkillsProficiency in payroll processing and payroll tax management.Knowledge of payroll accounting and deduction procedures.Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.Additional Skills & QualificationsHRIS experience is a plus.Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred.A minimum of 3 years of payroll administration or HR experience.Work EnvironmentThe work environment is professional, requiring the use of HRIS systems for maintaining records and ensuring data confidentiality.
