Job Summary Back CNC Router Operator – Manufacturing & General Production Location: Tigard, OR (Portland, Oregon area) Type: Temp To Hire Pay: $26.00 to $28.00 per hour Schedule: Monday–Friday; 7:30 AM–4:30 PM This is a temp-to-hire position. Full Job Description A well-established manufacturing company with more than 60 years of success is seeking an experienced CNC Router Programmer/Operator to join its team. This position is ideal for someone with previous CNC router table experience who can independently program, set up, and operate CNC equipment in a production environment. The successful candidate will have experience using CNC programming software, preferably AlphaCAM, and be comfortable working with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy. Key Responsibilities Program CNC router tables using AlphaCAM software Set up and operate CNC router equipment for production runs Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and work orders Optimize cutting programs for efficiency and material utilization Verify dimensions and quality using measuring tools Troubleshoot machine and programming issues as needed Perform machine adjustments and routine maintenance tasks Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment Qualifications Previous CNC router table programming and operating experience required Experience with AlphaCAM software preferred Strong understanding of CNC machining processes Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings Experience using measuring tools and verifying tolerances Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills Ability to work independently and manage priorities Reliable attendance and commitment to quality workmanship Benefits Medical insurance Dental insurance Paid holidays Paid time off (PTO) Stable, long‑term employment with an established company Team‑oriented culture with employee appreciation events and activities Three ways to apply!
