Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $40 - $40 / hour*

What You'll Be Doing as a Field Service Control Technician:

• The Field Service Controls Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial automation and control systems at customer sites
• This role requires a strong understanding of PLCs, HMIs, instrumentation, mechanical functions, and electrical control systems
• The technician will work independently or as part of a team to ensure systems operate efficiently and meet performance standards
• The position involves regular travel to customer locations, often with short notice, and requires strong problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills

Job Requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or 2+ years of vocational training in Electromechanical Systems
• Must have a minimum of 3 years' experience in the OEM industry involved in designing, editing, installing and troubleshooting PLC and motion control software and hardware
• Must be able to travel domestically and sometimes internationally away from home for extended periods of time (75-80%)
• Ability to support various software control platforms for packaging machine to customer plant integration
• Knowledge of ladder logic, produced and consumed tags, messaging, as well as other machine integration tools
• Possess advanced mechanical, electrical and software skills
• Proficiency in operating controls systems of equipment (Allen Bradley, Rexroth, Siemens, PLC, HMI, etc.)
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, including ability to communicate effectively to the intended audience
• Background check and Drug test required
