Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Brevard Family Counseling Services, you will:

• Establish therapeutic relationships with clients by creating a safe, trusting environment and maintaining professional ethics and boundaries.

• Hold a manageable caseload, conducting regular individual therapy sessions and collaborative meetings with clients to assess progress and address their ongoing needs.

• Conduct thorough intake assessments and develop personalized, person-centered treatment plans, ensuring they are continuously evaluated and adapted as necessary.

• Document client progress through detailed notes while adhering to organizational and regulatory requirements for confidentiality and accuracy.

• Participate in individual supervision sessions to enhance clinical skills and ensure compliance with best practices.

• Work in tandem with other healthcare professionals and community resources to provide holistic care for clients.

• Attend training opportunities and engage in professional development activities to enhance your skill set.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on youth and their families, fostering mental wellness through evidence-based interventions and compassionate care. You will work with diverse populations experiencing various challenges, including anxiety, depression, and trauma. Your objective will be to empower clients and their families through effective counseling strategies and to navigate the complexities of mental health issues collaboratively.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for the Licensed Professional Counselor position, the following qualifications are required:

• A Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling, Clinical Psychology, or a related field.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Tennessee.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
