Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Kitchen Supervisor to oversee daily kitchen operations, manage kitchen staff, ensure food quality, and maintain a clean and organized work environment. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who thrives in a fast-paced catering kitchen and has excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Break down event menus into detailed production lists and prep schedules.
• Supervise daily kitchen production and staff.
• Ensure food is prepared according to recipes and quality standards.
• Coordinate food preparation for multiple events and catering orders.
• Train, motivate, and supervise kitchen team members.
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards (Maricopa County regulations).
• Monitor inventory and assist with ordering supplies.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of food.
• Work closely with the Executive Chef and management team to meet production deadlines.
• Assist with event preparation, packing, and kitchen organization.
• Help maintain equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Drive company vehicles to event venues and oversee on-site event execution, including setup, food presentation, service coordination, and breakdown.
• Ensure every event is executed to Crafted Cuisine's quality and presentation standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial kitchen experience.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Catering or banquet experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as required for events.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus, but not required.
