Senior Project/Program Manager

Job SummaryOur client is seeking a Senior Project/Program Manager to lead complex, high-visibility technical delivery initiatives within a large enterprise environment. This individual will create and maintain project plans, coordinate work across multiple technical teams, manage dependencies and risks, and provide clear updates to executive stakeholders. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable asking detailed questions, and capable of bringing teams together in a fast-paced environment.This position is W-2 only. We do not work with third-party firms or C2C arrangements for this role.Core ResponsibilitiesCreate and maintain detailed project plans across multiple technical delivery teamsLead weekly meetings covering project progress, technical challenges, missed milestones, dependencies, and roadblocksCoordinate with technical teams to identify requirements, points of contact, timelines, and work needed to begin deliveryIdentify cross-team dependencies and track their impact on project schedulesMonitor the critical path and communicate potential timeline changes to stakeholdersDevelop executive-level reports highlighting progress, risks, decisions, and upcoming milestonesPublish dynamic weekly status reports using Jira and ConfluenceDefine and communicate the scope of initial releases and future project phasesCreate longer-term delivery roadmaps for programs spanning multiple releasesSupport technical initiatives involving account management, customer verification, payment functionality, alerts, and system integrationsBuild trusted working relationships across technical teams, business groups, leadership, and project stakeholdersRequired Skills/Experience (Must-Haves)5+ years of project management, program management, or technical delivery experienceExperience supporting technical initiatives within a large enterprise organizationStrong understanding of the software development lifecycleExperience creating detailed project plans and coordinating multiple delivery teamsHands-on experience with Jira and ConfluenceExperience managing project risks, issues, dependencies, milestones, and critical pathsStrong written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting to executive stakeholdersPreferred Skills/Experience (Nice-to-Haves)Experience with SmartsheetBackground supporting large-scale applications, payments, or integrated enterprise platformsExperience coordinating projects across business and IT teamsExperience creating multi-phase delivery roadmapsExperience supporting highly visible, deadline-driven programsKnowledge of Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery environmentsKey Competencies & BehaviorsStrong executive presence and confidence leading meetingsHighly organized with close attention to commitments, deadlines, and follow-up itemsComfortable asking frequent and detailed questions to clarify ownership and delivery expectationsAble to bring multiple teams together and hold stakeholders accountable for commitmentsStrong judgment when navigating complex organizational relationships and competing prioritiesEnergetic, professional, and comfortable working in a genuinely fast-paced environmentAble to build credibility and trust with technical teams over timeWork EnvironmentLocation: Hybrid in Maryland Heights, MOCompensation & BenefitsPay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $53.00 and $59.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location.
