Business Analyst IT

Job Title: Business Analyst IT Location: Charlotte, NC Duration: 12 Months Pay Rate: $40 - $45 / HR (W2 Only) Job/Role Description Responsible for the full lifecycle of reporting, from gathering requirements to developing SQL queries and providing ongoing support. Serves as the primary IT business consultant and interface between business groups and IT teams. Analyzes and understands the work processes of assigned business areas to identify needs and deliver effective solutions. Provides technical knowledge to support efficient design, development, implementation, and support of systems, collaborating with programmers to explain and refine solutions. Participates in project implementations to assess impacts on assigned business groups. Conducts regular prioritization and planning sessions with assigned business areas. Ensures overall customer satisfaction through effective communications, analysis, problem resolution, consultation, testing, development of solutions, and adherence to service level agreements. Requires strong problem-solving skills, experience developing and troubleshooting SQL, and excellent communication skills to interact effectively with all levels of leadership, business partners, and IT teams. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline. In lieu of a degree, 4 years of related business experience. 1-3 years of related experience in business and/or information technology systems analysis or support, in addition to the degree requirement. Minimum of 3 years experience in SQL development, support, and troubleshooting. Demonstrated strong analytical and communication skills. Proven ability to gather requirements effectively. Ability to work effectively with customers, IT management, and teammates. Strong problem-solving abilities and experience explaining technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. Ability to prioritize and manage tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
