Manufacturing Biotechnologist (Night Shift - 2K Upstream)

What you will do

• Upstream Operations: Set up and operate 2,000-liter bioreactors and support equipment to facilitate mammalian cell growth.
• Cell Culture Monitoring: Perform precise inoculation, sampling, and monitoring of cell health to ensure production stays on track.
• Clean & Sterile Maintenance: Execute Clean-in-Place (CIP) and Steam-in-Place (SIP) procedures to maintain the highest standards of sterility.
• Documentation: Record all production activities in real-time using electronic and paper-based systems (GDP).
• Material Movement: Coordinate the transfer of raw materials and chemicals required for the night's production run.
• Team Collaboration: Participate in shift handovers and coordinate with the 2k team to ensure seamless 24/7 operation.

What we are looking for

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent is required; an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a Science-related discipline is a plus.
• Experience: 1-2 years of experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or a regulated environment is preferred, but we are open to candidates without prior experience and with a strong work ethic.
• Reliability: Ability to work a consistent 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM rotational schedule.
• Detail-Oriented: A commitment to following strict instructions and safety protocols to ensure product quality.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to work in a cleanroom environment, which includes wearing specialized protective gowning.
