The Accounting Manager role builds on the Senior Accountant position, focusing on higher-level financial oversight, mentorship, and client advisory. You will manage multiple Senior Accountants and bookkeepers, ensuring financial accuracy and process efficiency while guiding clients toward strategic financial decisions.

Qualifications

6+ years of progressive accounting experience
Supervisory or team management experience with a passion for coaching and mentorship
Strong expertise in financial statement preparation and analysis
Experience advising multiple clients across industries, comfortable supporting a sizable client portfolio (100+ clients firm-wide)
Process improvement mindset with the ability to identify and implement process improvements
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Commitment to Momentum’s core values, ensuring a great team and client experience

Requirements

Industry experience: SaaS, service-based, and e-commerce industries
Workflow automation and process documentation: Familiarity with building scalable systems
Financial software integrations and reporting tools: Experience implementing and configuring
Enthusiasm for mentoring and developing accounting professionals

Annual salary ranging from $86,000 to $95,000
