Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis

Role

Senior Manager, FP&A at Sana Biotechnology, responsible for integrating financial planning and reporting with R&D, CMC, and G&A functions.

Objectives

Support budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and enhance process efficiency to enable strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

Prepare variance analyses, support month-end close activities, develop tools for project-level resource planning, analyze expenses per US GAAP, and provide financial insights for leadership. Also, create reporting dashboards, track milestones, and drive continuous process improvements.

Requirements

Bachelor's in Finance or Accounting; 5+ years FP&A experience, preferably in high-growth biopharma environments; advanced Excel skills; strong understanding of US GAAP, financial processes, and cloud ERP/EPM systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365).

Preferred

MBA, collaborative leadership style, influence in fast-paced settings, attention to detail, and adaptability.

High-Value

Focus on supporting R&D and CMC functions, with emphasis on portfolio and resource planning in a biotech setting.
