Senior Accountant / Accounting Manager

Accounting Manager – Los Angeles County, CA – Direct Hire Accounting. Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking an Accounting Manager to join their team. Compensation up to $130,000 per year. Job Responsibilities Lead month end, quarter end, and year end close activities, including review of journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations. Prepare and review financial statements to ensure accurate and timely reporting. Maintain the general ledger and monitor account activity to ensure data accuracy and consistency. Coordinate audit support activities by providing documentation and responding to auditor requests. Partner with internal departments to support business initiatives, financial processes, and operational reporting. Requirements A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. An active CPA license. Previousexperience in accounting leadership or senior level accounting roles. Strong understanding of accounting standards, financial reporting, and close processes. Advanced proficiency with Excel and experience working with accounting or ERP systems. Qualifications Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage complex accounting activities accurately. Proven ability to mentor, support, and develop accounting team members. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with a process improvement mindset. Effective written and verbal communication skills for working with stakeholders across the organization.
