Join Cayuga Addiction Recovery Centers as a Registered Nurse at our Mens Residence located in Trumansburg, NY. This rotating shift position includes days, nights, and weekends, working 5 days a week for a total of 40 hours. You will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to clients in a 24-hour accountability environment, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.

Job Description:
Join Cayuga Addiction Recovery Centers as a Registered Nurse at our Mens Residence located in Trumansburg, NY. This rotating shift position includes days, nights, and weekends, working 5 days a week for a total of 40 hours. You will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to clients in a 24-hour accountability environment, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Maintain oversight of the quality of care and safety of clients around the clock.
- Complete physical and mental health assessments, including vital signs, risk assessments, and withdrawal assessments (COWS) as per Part 820 regulations.
- Administer and monitor treatment regimens, including prescribed medications.
- Observe and report behavioral and medical changes promptly.
- Maintain control and documentation of drugs and medications.
- Triage emergent client medical issues and coordinate care with Nursing staff, PA, NP, Medical Director, and outside providers.
- Record all care information accurately, concisely, and timely using the appropriate documentation formats.
- Provide direct care in collaboration with licensed practical nurses and other clinical staff.
- Respect and incorporate cultural and religious practices of patients.
- Ensure compliance with OASAS/Medicaid regulations.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team in quality assessment, assurance, and performance improvement activities.
- Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited school required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- BLS Certification.
- Successful completion of CPI training within 3 months of hire.
- Successful completion of medication competency exam.
