Assistant Branch Manager

Key Responsibilities Partner with the Branch Manager to keep daily operations running seamlessly across teller, member service, and lending functions Be the go‑to expert—answering everything from quick questions to more complex scenarios around products, policies, and regulations Oversee cash operations, including vault balancing, cash ordering, and decision‑making around member transactions and funds availability Jump in when needed—serving as a teller or vault teller and handling all related duties with confidence Drive growth by identifying opportunities, building relationships, and connecting members with the right financial solutions Help the branch hit (and exceed) goals for loans, new accounts, and referrals Open new accounts and guide members through important financial decisions Detect and prevent fraudulent activity—protecting both members and the credit union Review and explain credit reports in a clear, helpful way Originate, process, and close loans from start to finish Coach and develop team members—building their technical skills, sales confidence, and people skills Requirements 3+ years of experience in a financial institution 1+ year of cash handling experience A genuine passion for helping both members and your team succeed Why You’ll Love This Role You’ll have real influence—on team performance, member experience, and branch success It’s a hands‑on leadership role where no two days look the same You’ll grow your leadership skills while staying connected to the front line You’ll be part of a team that values collaboration, accountability, and service Why Trax Credit Union At Trax, we invest in our employees so they can deliver their best every day.
