People & Culture Intern

Schurz Communications Inc. is looking for a motivated and detail‑oriented People & Culture Intern to support a major initiative: digitizing our HR records to help modernize and streamline our systems. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys organizing information, learning how HR teams operate, and contributing to meaningful process improvements. In this role, you’ll work closely with the People & Culture team and gain hands‑on experience with core HR functions while helping us transition from paper files to an efficient electronic system. Responsibilities Scan, organize, and digitize paper HR documents Help ensure electronic files are properly labeled, stored, and organized Support the team with light administrative tasks as needed Maintain confidentiality and follow proper handling of sensitive information Learn the basics of HR systems and processes through hands‑on experience Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Willingness to learn new tools and processes Clear communication skills Ability to stay focused, manage time effectively, and complete tasks independently Why Join Schurz Communications, Inc?
