Job Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and intakes, discuss goals with patients, and develop individualized care plans.
• Prescribe appropriate treatments, educate patients on risks and benefits, and monitor progress closely.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate therapy plans into overall patient care.
• Adjust treatment plans based on patient progress and provide caregiver education for home safety and equipment use.
• Regularly review and modify therapy plans, ensuring compliance with quality care standards and regulatory requirements.
• Participate actively in quality improvement initiatives and maintain professional skills through ongoing education.
• Engage in special projects and other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• Clinical doctorate, master's, or bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy.
• Preferred: At least one year of physical therapy practice experience.

Licenses and Certifications

• Current, unrestricted license to practice Physical Therapy in the state of Washington.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

• Strong understanding of therapy theories and concepts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, adaptable to diverse audiences.
• Ability to build effective partnerships with healthcare providers, managers, and patients.
• Proficient in accurate and timely documentation.
• Capable of working independently with sound judgment, critical thinking, and organizational skills.

Physical Requirements

Includes frequent lifting and carrying of weights up to 35 lbs, standing, walking, bending, and other physical activities necessary for patient care.
