Family Law Senior Associate/Junior Partner

Job Overview A law firm seeks an experienced family law attorney to join their team as a Senior Associate or Junior Partner in Charlotte, North Carolina. Duties Represent clients in family law matters, including divorce, custody, and prenuptial agreements. Manage a caseload with minimal supervision and ensure deadlines are met. Conduct legal research and draft legal documents such as pleadings and motions. Engage in negotiation and mediation to resolve disputes. Collaborate with attorneys and support staff for seamless case management. Participate in business development initiatives and client meetings. Mentor and supervise junior attorneys and paralegals. Requirements J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership. 2-10 years of experience in family law practice. Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills. Strong negotiation and mediation abilities. Ability to manage and prioritize a diverse caseload. Commitment to ethical standards and client confidentiality. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Experience in business development is a plus. Education Juris Doctor (J.D.)
