What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Manage an active caseload of family law matters from intake through resolution
• Represent clients in hearings, mediations, negotiations, and related proceedings
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, legal correspondence, and case strategy
• Maintain proactive and professional communication with clients
• Partner closely with legal support teams to ensure efficient case progression
• Participate in litigation planning, case reviews, and team initiatives
• Navigate sensitive situations with professionalism, empathy, and sound judgment
• Maintain organization, meet deadlines, and drive case movement

Ideal Background

• Active North Carolina Bar admission
• 2+ years of litigation experience (family law strongly preferred)
• Experience appearing in court and advocating directly for clients
• Strong legal writing and analytical skills
• Comfortable managing deadlines and balancing multiple active matters
• Experience with mediation, negotiation, or settlement strategy preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively while independently driving outcomes

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $80,000–$130,000 DOE
