Office Manager and Homework Cafe Teacher

Office Manager and Homework Cafe Teacher Fusion Academy is hiring a mid‑level Office Manager and Homework Cafe Teacher. This is a full‑time role in Alexandria. Full responsibilities and required qualifications are listed below. Job Description Fusion Academy is a fully accredited 1‑to‑1 private school serving students in grades 5‑12. The campus provides personalized education academically, socially, and emotionally. The Office Manager & Homework Café Teacher shares a front‑office leadership role and classroom support in the Homework Café spaces. Responsibilities Office Manager: Create a welcoming first impression and ongoing campus experience for all visitors. Maintain campus operations, including records, tuition payments, student medication, and communications. Support events such as Graduation, Prom, and Teacher Appreciation Week. Help maintain a safe, organized, and aesthetically inviting campus. Other duties as assigned. Homework Café Teacher: Monitor and support students’ homework completion and executive‑functioning skills. Communicate with teachers and parents about student progress. Promote a positive, social learning environment. Adapt support to meet each learner’s needs. Mentor students and support their social‑emotional growth. Contribute to campus life and culture. Keep student records accurate and organized. Invest in personal growth through reflection, feedback, and professional development. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees or teaching credential is a plus. Ability and willingness to support students with a wide range of assignments. Experience working with students, including those with learning differences, neurodiversity, accelerated learning needs, and/or mental health challenges. Mentoring experience and passion for social‑emotional learning. Proficiency with technology, curiosity about innovation, and willingness to learn new tools. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to work in a high‑paced environment, remain calm, be open to feedback, and act as a self‑starter. Ability to build rapport with students while maintaining authority, boundaries, and discipline. Maintain a clean and organized milieu space for students to learn. Growth mindset with flexibility to pivot and solve problems as needed. Florida residents require level‑2 background screening through This position is for the new school year 2026‑2027.
