We are looking for a sharp and reliable Corporate Recruiter & Onboarding Specialist to join our team. This is a full-time exempt position reporting to our corporate office in San Juan Capistrano, CA during normal business hours. We offer competitive salaries and a full benefits package consisting of the following: Paid Time Off Holidays Full Medical/Dental/Vision 401k program with a generous company match Position Summary: In this position, you will work directly with Senior Leadership and Executive Management and play a key role in supporting the organization’s talent and people strategies. Your primary responsibilities will include managing the full-cycle recruitment process, from identifying and attracting qualified candidates through interviewing, selection, offer negotiation, and hiring, as well as leading and coordinating the onboarding experience for new team members throughout their first six months of employment. You will serve as a key point of contact for new employees, ensuring they receive the guidance, resources, and support needed to successfully integrate into the organization and their respective teams. In addition to these core responsibilities, you will provide support on a variety of HR and Operations functions as needed. The position requires a professional individual with a high standard of quality, efficiency, and organization as well as the drive and initiative to complete tasks independently within a team environment. This position will require the candidate to prioritize multiple responsibilities and proactively manage and drive others to complete their tasks by engaging with staff and various departments. The candidate will be required to think critically and solve problems in a self- sufficient manner with support provided as needed. This is an in-office position located in our corporate offices in San Juan Capistrano with 4 days in office and 1 WFH day hybrid schedule. The candidate’s responsibilities will include: Lead and manage the full-cycle recruiting process, including job requisition coordination, job description development and posting, candidate sourcing, resume review, initial screening, skills and candidate assessments, interview scheduling and coordination, candidate evaluation, reference checks, offer coordination, and pre-employment communications; Develop and execute proactive talent acquisition strategies to identify and engage qualified engineering and technical talent through online recruiting platforms, professional networks, social media, targeted outreach campaigns, employee referrals, industry contacts, and other appropriate sourcing channels; Schedule and oversee the employee onboarding process once offer has been accepted, including new-hire coordination, orientation, training, introductions, and integration into the organization and project teams; Coordinate with senior leadership during the onboarding process to ensure new employees understand their responsibilities, receive appropriate training and resources, and are effectively integrated into client projects and internal teams; Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future staffing needs, developing relationships with prospective candidates and maintaining ongoing communication with high potential talent; Support career fairs, recruiting events, professional networking activities, university outreach, and other talent acquisition initiatives designed to increase the company’s visibility and strengthen the engineering and technical candidate pipeline; Manage and maintain recruiting systems, online job boards, candidate databases, resumes, interview records, and other talent acquisition resources, ensuring information is accurate, organized, current, and appropriately maintained; Partner closely with senior leadership to understand current and anticipated staffing requirements, position qualifications, project needs, timing, and hiring priorities; Track recruiting activity and hiring metrics, including open positions, candidate pipelines, sourcing activity, interviews, offers, hiring activity, and other relevant recruiting data, and provide updates to senior leadership as appropriate; Support continuous improvement of recruiting and onboarding processes, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, candidate quality, hiring timelines, communication, and the overall employee experience; Perform other HR, recruiting, and operational responsibilities as needed. Job Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Psychology, Communications, or relevant major - from an accredited university with minimum GPA of 3.0; GPA will be verified; 7-12+ years of work experience in technical recruiting, corporate environment preferred; Extensive experience in developing and executing comprehensive recruiting programs and processes; Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and other job posting systems; Experienced at technical screening and interviewing, in particular with engineering, science, and technical communities; Knowledge of federal and local labor laws and regulations; Knowledge of Human Resources or Business Administration best practices for a growing organization; Solid organizational skills including ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work independently; Excellent verbal and written communication; and Advanced computer skills and experience with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Excel,Word, and PowerPoint. #J-18808-Ljbffr Yorke Engineering, LLC
