Key Responsibilities

• Hands-On Patient Care: Implement established treatment plans under the supervision of licensed Physical Therapists, including therapeutic exercises, neuromuscular re-education, and manual therapy techniques tailored to individual patient needs.
• Progress Monitoring: Track patient performance and outcomes, adjusting treatments as necessary based on progress. Offer encouragement and support to motivate patients, fostering a positive relationship that enhances rehabilitation success.
• Patient Education: Educate patients about their conditions and treatment objectives, allowing them to take an active role in their recovery process. Ensure that they are informed about home exercises and self-care strategies to maintain progress outside of therapy.
• Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, sharing insights and participating in regular team meetings to optimize treatment plans and enhance patient outcomes.
• Documenting Patient Records: Maintain thorough and accurate records in compliance with regulatory standards, documenting treatment modalities and tracking progress. This includes utilizing electronic health records (EHR) systems for efficient data management and communication.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.

Compensation and Benefits
