Work Environment

Your role as a Physical Therapist Assistant will be onsite within our modern hospital facility located in the heart of Anaheim. The structured work frame typically runs Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional flexibility required to accommodate varying patient needs and ensure seamless clinic operations. Key Responsibilities

• Assist licensed Physical Therapists in the execution of customized treatment plans tailored to meet the unique rehabilitation goals of each patient.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and activities designed to improve strength and mobility, providing not only physical support but also motivation and encouragement throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Educate patients on injury prevention, body mechanics, and effective exercise techniques, ensuring they are well-informed about their recovery process.
• Administer therapeutic modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy, always operating under the guidance of a supervising Physical Therapist.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, tracking improvements in physical abilities and adjusting treatment as necessary to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain a well-organized treatment area, ensuring that all equipment and supplies are readily available for effective therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with other rehabilitation professionals, including Occupational and Speech-Language Therapists, to create a cohesive and effective approach to patient care.
• Provide emotional support to patients, fostering a positive environment that promotes healing and overall well-being.
• Adhere to the highest standards of ethical and professional practice while ensuring patient confidentiality and respecting patient rights.
