Manager, Training and Enablement

Summary:Mimaki USA is seeking a high-caliber Manager of Training and Enablement to lead the development and rollout of our comprehensive business training ecosystem. This individual will serve as the primary bridge between our technical engineering capabilities and our front-line sales performance. You are responsible for ensuring that Mimaki team members, and our dealer partners, have the mastery required to represent our brand with technical precision and sales charisma.Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Technical Training & MasteryDevelop and execute deep-dive hardware and software certifications for internal staff and dealer partners.Work closely with Service and Engineering to translate technical updates into actionable training modules.Product Marketing & Demo TrainingCreate standardized demo "scripts" and workflows that highlight Mimaki’s USPs (Unique Selling Propositions).Train personnel on how to use hardware to tell a compelling business story for different vertical markets.Sales & Sales Development TrainingBuild the sales enablement framework: prospecting, value-based selling, and competitive displacement.Conduct "train-the-trainer" sessions for regional managers to ensure training is consistent across all territories.General Administration & Personnel TrainingPartner with Human Resources on new-hire orientation and company culture integration.Collaborate with Business Systems/IT to train staff on CRM (Salesforce/Dynamics) and ERP workflows.Work EnvironmentPrimarily office-based with some remote or hybrid flexibility, as applicableUp to 30% travel may be required to support training sessionsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Education and/or Experience:Bachelor’s degree in business administration, instructional design, or related field (preferred) and/or 8+ years related experience in corporate training, or combination of education and experience in corporate training.The Manager must be a practitioner-leader, demonstrating mastery in these four core areas:Instructional Design (ADDIE/SAM): You must be an expert at building structured learning paths. You don’t just "give presentations"; you build systems that include needs analysis, content development, and post-training evaluation.LMS Management: Hands-on proficiency with Learning Management Systems (e.g., Docebo). You will manage the digital infrastructure for tracking certifications, course completions, and compliance for the 10% administrative pillar.Technical Writing & Distillation: You make the complex simple without losing accuracy by possessing the ability to understand and distill a 200-page technical engineering manual down to a high-impact, 5-page "Quick Start Sales Guide."Demo Lab Orchestration: You will own the "Mimaki Experience." This includes the physical and narrative setup of our Experience Centers—ensuring lighting, sample quality, hardware placement, and storytelling are perfectly aligned.Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
